About the Ceremony

Each year, the official R&B Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony honors that year’s inductees through musical performances, spoken word, and live and video tributes by many of today’s biggest musical names who have been influenced by rhythm & blues’ musical greats. Many inductees also perform.

Each inductee is also presented with the official R&B Music Hall of Fame statuette, individually hand-crafted by the R&B Music Association. The statuette features the logo’s iconic vintage microphone individually inscribed for each inductee.
